Zarineh didn't begin in 2025. It began in the early 1990s, in the factories and fabric markets of Karachi, where we built our craft producing for wholesalers, distributing for vendors, and working behind the scenes of Pakistan's fashion industry.
We watched our work go out to market under other names. Saw the markups added. Saw what got compromised when the brand was three steps removed from the people actually making the clothes.
We knew what went into making clothes that women loved. We just weren't making them for ourselves yet.
After thirty years of knowing exactly what's possible, we decided to prove it.

Every Zarineh piece begins in our atelier , fabric sourced directly from mills that meet our specifications for weight, weave, and finish. Our in-house design team develops every print and embroidery motif from scratch.
Chikankari, the embroidery our region is best known for, is hand-finished by artisans whose families have practised this work for generations. A single luxe piece passes through fifteen to twenty hands from sketch to finished kurta.
